Barry Mcgovern

"Barry McGovern is a critically acclaimed Irish actor known internationally for his award-winning one-man Samuel Beckett shows ‘I'll Go On’ and ‘Watt’ and for his roles as Vladimir in 'Waiting for Godot' and Clov in 'Endgame'.     
 

He is regarded by many as one of the leading interpreters of Samuel Beckett’s work, and he has previously worked with Athena Media as narrator of an audiobook recording of 'The Dead' by James Joyce in 2013 and now narrates this three part series 'Cross Currents' for RTÉ lyric fm. Barry stars in Beckett's 'First Love' as part of The Dublin Theatre Festival 2016, which premieres on October 12th."
